CONCEPCION, Alberto Concepcion
November 25, 1961 - November 30, 2025
It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Alberto “Al” on November 30, 2025, at the age of 64. Al was the cherished husband of 34 years to Ruth (Villapando), whose unwavering love and partnership he deeply treasured. A devoted and proud father, he leaves behind his beloved children Canille (Mark), Gabe, Aaron (Coren), and Allen (2025).
Born with a strong spirit and an even stronger heart, Al is survived by his siblings Corazon (late Bruce) and Crisanto, and is predeceased by his brother Julian. He will also be lovingly remembered by his brothers- and sisters-in-law Rodolfo (Irma), Raquel, Rosemarie, Rebecca (Nomie), Rosanna (William), Bernardo, Rina, and Aida (Gerald). His nieces and nephews-Fatima, Carlos Joseph, and Christine-and his cousin Priscilla (Macwain) will forever hold his memory close.
In 2001, Al bravely emigrated to Canada in pursuit of opportunity and a better future for his family. His determination and resilience became defining qualities throughout his life. He worked as a Quality Inspector at NextStar Energy, and previously applied his skills and dedication at CSWind and AARP. In 2008, he proudly completed his studies in Motive Power Technician.
Known fondly as a “mechanic without a license,” Al had a remarkable ability to fix just about anything. Whether working on cars, taking on household projects, or lifting the spirits of those around him with his natural humor, he approached life with curiosity, talent, and a joyful heart. He was courageous, hardworking, and steadfast-a man who never gave up and whose warm, magnetic presence touched everyone he met.
Al’s legacy is one of love, resilience, and laughter. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his memory will remain forever in the hearts of his family and friends.
