Peacefully at home with family by his side on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Anna (née Muir). Loving father of Catherine Kelly (Charles), Charles Cook (Catharine), David Cook and Sarah Robertson (Doug). Cherished granda of Bill (Pauline), Heather (Gerry), Hillary (Tom), Charles (Chrissy), Samuel (Haley), Andrew and May. Great-grandfather of Charles, Lachlan, Everest, Charlize, Charles, Mary, William, and one more on the way. Dear brother of Thomas (Agnes) and Frank (Margaret). Predeceased by brothers Charles (Helen), Andrew (Eleanor), George (Jennifer), John (Margaret) and James. Bill will be missed by his large extended family, friends from around the world, GoodLife friends and former GM colleagues. Many thanks to all of the wonderful, caring staff and volunteers at the Durham Regional Cancer Centre, especially Dr. Shim, Dr. Dixon, and nurse Lisa, as well as PSWs, home care nurses Gideon, Arun, and Ray, and the staff of Lovell Drugs Rosslyn Plaza. W., Oshawa, on Saturday, October 25 at 1 p.m. Interment Union Cemetery, Oshawa.
