It is with deep love and gratitude that we announce the peaceful passing of Susan P. Noronha at the age of 88.
Born to John and Anne Correia, Susan grew into a woman of strength, grace, and many talents. She was the beloved wife of the late Isaac Noronha. Together, they made the courageous decision to immigrate to Canada in 1968—a life-changing act for which their sons are deeply grateful.
A devoted mother, Susan is survived by her sons Lionel Noronha (Vino) and Osborne Noronha. Cherished grandmother to Lara, Mia, and Ava (children of Lionel and Vino), and Anna and Alyssa (children of Osborne). To her family, she was a shining example of what a mother, wife, and grandmother should be.
Susan was a respected teacher who made a lasting impact on students across all levels. Remembered as an elegant and caring educator, she brought empathy, intellect, and dignity into every classroom she entered.
She was also a self-taught pianist, a graceful ballroom dancer, an excellent cook, and fluent in five languages. Her love of beauty, culture, and music was matched by a passion for travel—she enjoyed Cunard cruises around the world and rarely missed an episode of Jeopardy.
Above all else, Susan will be remembered for her quiet strength, boundless love, and the legacy of kindness and dignity she leaves behind. She now rests in eternal peace, reunited with her beloved Isaac.
