It is with heavy hearts that the family of Glenn Stuart Cosby announces his peaceful passing on June 15, 2025, surrounded by love in his home in Sherkston, Ontario.

Glenn leaves behind his devoted wife of 53 years, Nancy Alberta Cosby, and his loving daughters Shannon Marr (Scott) and Melanie Cosby (Rick). He was predeceased by his twin sons, Matthew and Micheal. Glenn was a proud grandfather to Samantha, Kirsten, Kaitlin, Tessa (Devon), Alex, and Zander, and great-grandfather to Mia, Delilah, and Ella.

Remembered lovingly by his mother Bonnie Madere, and sister Cindy Mitchell. He is predeceased by his father Douglas Cosby and younger sister Gail Cosby.

Glenn was passionate about cars, family, and hard work. He worked for many years at the family-owned Cosby’s Septic and was known for his kind heart, quick wit, and incredible skillset—earning him the title of the “Modern Day MacGyver.” Whether helping others, farming during haying season, or fixing just about anything, Glenn’s presence brought joy and reliability to all.

The family extends heartfelt thanks to Dr. Scher and the home care nurses for their outstanding compassion and support.

In accordance with Glenn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A private gathering will be held at a later date to honour and celebrate his life.
