COULTHARD, Gordon Francis Coulthard

It is with great sadness that the family of Gordon Francis Coulthard announces his passing on November 4, 2025, at Kelowna General Hospital, at the age of 78. Gordon passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

Gordon was predeceased by his father Wilfred and mother Alma; sister Florence; brother-in-law Don Diamond; father-in-law Donald Dempster; and brother-in-law Donnie.

Gordon was born on April 29, 1947, in Dauphin, Manitoba. He will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of 23 years, Shirley, whom he married on November 1, 2002. He leaves behind his mother-in-law Cicely; children Tammy and Tom (Sylvia); and his beloved grandchildren Mary Ellen (Loraine), Aaron (Felicia), Alisha (Quentin), Alyssa, Cody (Noreen), Ashley, and Lynsey. Gordon was a proud great-grandfather to Riley, Emmit, Aerilyn, James, Marlee, Everleigh, Penélope and Damon, each of whom brought him endless joy and laughter.

Gordon will be fondly remembered for his love of golfing, hockey, and bowling, and for the many friendships he built through these lifelong passions. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather who cherished time spent with family and friends.

There will be a viewing on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm, at Springfield Funeral home, located at 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, where friends and family are welcome to come pay their last respects.

A Celebration of Life will be held in the spring of 2026 to honour Gordon’s memory and the lasting impact he made on all who loved him.
