COX, Anna Cox

peacefully on November 25, 2025, at the age of 86, to be reunited with her loving husband, Robert Cox (2010), with whom she shared 54 wonderful years. She leaves behind a legacy of strength, kindness, and devotion that will continue to guide her family forever.

Anna was the beloved mother of Stephen (Linda) Cox, Robert (Judy) Cox, Cynthia (Don) Janzen, Michael (Karen) Cox, and Kevin (Chantal) Cox. She was a proud grandmother to 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Her faith was unshakeable. A dedicated organist at her church, Anna lived her beliefs with grace, humility, and unwavering trust in God’s goodness. Her well-worn Bible was a testament to her life of prayer and devotion. She taught her family not through preaching, but by example—how to persevere, forgive, and choose love even when the world felt heavy.

Anna’s life was full of joy and energy. She drove a bus for Lang’s for 32 years and worked as a PSW for 8 years. She was infectiously cheerful, upbeat, and always in motion—singing or playing music wherever she went. She found joy in simple things: morning sunshine, family meals, softly sung hymns, and tea with a friend. Her home was always open, her arms always ready, and her wisdom always gentle.

Anna was deeply valued in her church community and programs. She cherished time with her grandchildren, making each one feel loved, seen, and special. Her joyful spirit and resilient mindset touched everyone she met.

As per Anna’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
