Honoring Shirley Crago obituaries: Beloved Mother & Grandmother

CRAGO, Shirley Barbara Crago October 31, 1929 - March 9, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Shirley Barbara Crago, who passed peacefully with family by her side on Sunday, March 9, 2025, at the age of 95. She has gone to be with her beloved husband, Keith, with whom she shared 57 wonderful years.

Shirley was the loving mother to Ann Buckley (Michael), Cathryn Grant (Frasier), Beverly James (Christopher), and Lance Crago (Diane). She was a beloved grandmother to Kevin, Shannon, Heather, Sean, Cheresse, Christian, Jordon, and Stephanie. Shirley will also be dearly missed by her many great-grandchildren.

Visitation will take place on Friday, March 14, 2025, at the Oshawa Funeral Home, located at 847 King Street West, Oshawa, Ontario – L1J 2L4, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at the Oshawa Funeral Home on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at 10:30 am, followed by a reception in the Heritage Room in the lower level of the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to a charity of your choice in Shirley’s memory.
