CRAIK, Andrew Craik – Obituary

CRAIK, Andrew – Passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, October 7th, 2015 in his 82nd year.

Beloved husband of Norma Craik (nee Barnum) for 52 years.

Loving father of Kathy, David, and Michael Craik.

Cherished brother of Eleanor (Sandy) Gibson, John (Hilda) Craik, and Allan (Wilma) Craik.

Predeceased by his parents John and Marjory (nee Nicoll) Craik.

Will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Andrew traveled the world during his 5 years in the British Merchant Navy. He immigrated to Canada in 1960 where he got a job at Ontario Hydro, and retired after 33 years.

Aside from being dedicated to his family and his work, Andrew had a passion for raising all types of birds that became his life-long hobby.

A Funeral Service will take place in Campbellford on Saturday October 17th. Service will be officiated by Reverend Mark Fearnall. Interment in Campbellford. Reception to follow immediately after the interment.

In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, or the Kidney Foundation.
