Peacefully at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry on Monday August 25, 2025. Patricia (née McMurdo) in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Bernard. Loving mother of Bernard (Brenda), Janice Miller (Mike), David (Christine Sharp) and predeceased by Elaine Boeck (George) and Allan (Anita). Dear grandmother of Vanessa (Ryan), Matthew, Patrick (Katie), Michael (Danica), Kathryne (Will), Laurel and great-grandmother of Bennett, Madelyn and Charlie. She will also be missed by several nieces and nephews. Pat loved spending time with her family, especially around the holidays and birthdays, including her own. She loved to play Euchre, volunteering for the Oshawa Seniors Centre and doing crafts. Knitting especially was something we saw her do all our lives. She also enjoyed her time with all her friends at Cedarcroft Retirement Home. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Alex Lindsay, the ER and Cardiac Care units at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and Bowmanville, the Durham Community Palliative Care Team and the caring staff at Oak Ridges Hospice in Port Perry.
