CROIX, Trina Ste-Croix

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Trina Ste-Croix, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, niece, and friend, on August 8, 2025, at the age of 44, after a courageous battle with cancer, Trina passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa surrounded by her family and friends.

Trina was the devoted wife of Ashley Ste-Croix, and the proud, loving mother of her two sons, Aaron and Hayden, who were her greatest joy and her world. She was dedicated to her boys, always putting their happiness and well-being above all else. Her love also extended to her “furry daughter,” Bailey, whose companionship brought her daily comfort and joy.

Born on May 24, 1981 in Gaspé, Quebec, Trina was the daughter of Viola Syvret and the late Terry Ste-Croix, whom she now joins in eternal peace. Dear daughter in law of Theresa and the late Arthur Ste-Croix. She also leaves behind her cherished grandmother Winnie, and her brother Stanley. She will be deeply missed by her many aunts, uncles, in-laws, cousins, and friends — but her love and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of her loving boys.

She will be remembered for her warmth, kindness, strength, and unwavering love for her family and friends. Trina touched many lives with her generosity and the way she made everyone feel valued and cared for.

The family extends their deepest gratitude to all who supported her and stood by her side throughout her difficult journey.

Visitation will be held at the Courtice Funeral Chapel 1587 Highway #2, Courtice, on Saturday August 16th from 9:30 a.m. until time of her Celebration of Life in the chapel at 10:30 a.m. All who knew and loved Trina are welcome to attend and celebrate her life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Trina’s memory may be made to Lakeridge Health Oshawa Cancer Centre.
