Clarence White Cudmore, a resident of London, Ontario, passed away peacefully at the London Health Sciences Centre, Victoria Hospital on June 11, 2025, at the age of 83.
Born in Chatham and raised on the family farm near Ridgetown, Clarence was the beloved son of the late Broughton and Olive (née McClung) Cudmore. Devoted husband of 51 years to the late Marie (2021), cherished father to Stephen and Jason Cudmore of London, and proud grandfather to Destiny Cudmore.
He was predeceased by his brother Nelson and will be fondly remembered by his extended family including Roger (Nancy) Cudmore, Elaine (Matt) Smith, and many in-laws from Marie’s family. Clarence had a deep love for his family, a strong connection to the land, and a heart full of kindness.
After a fulfilling 30-year career with the London Board of Education, Clarence embraced retirement with curiosity and energy. He enjoyed technology—bringing home the family’s first computer in 1978—and held a lifelong passion for horse racing, road trips, and Detroit Tigers baseball.
A Funeral Service will be held at McKinlay Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown, Ontario on Monday, June 16, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Ken Whiting officiating. Interment to follow at Gosnell Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Clarence to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
