It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Howard β€œUncle How” Culp, a spirited and selfless man, who left us far too soon at the age of 71. Though young at heart and in soul, Howie passed peacefully, having lived a life defined by generosity, compassion, and community.

Howard was a family man in every sense β€” not just to those tied to him by blood, but to everyone lucky enough to be drawn into his wide, open-armed circle. To his family up north, to the neighbors just around the corner, and to the countless lives he touched at the rink and the ball diamond, he was a constant presence β€” supportive and reliable.

Howard was a dedicated employee and manager at the LCBO for 33 years, where he developed lifelong friendships that he cherished. Affectionately known as β€œUncle How” to many and simply β€œHowie” to others, he had a rare gift for making everyone feel like family. Whether cheering from the stands, coaching from the bench, or lending a helping hand, he led with his heart in all that he did.

His absence will be deeply felt by all β€” young and old β€” whose lives he brightened with his kindness, humor, and unwavering support. Howard leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and community spirit that will live on in the hearts of those he held dear.

Arrangements: A private family burial has occurred. If you wish, donations can be made to the Lions Head Hospital Auxiliary at mdkaway@hotmail.com or by calling 226-923-1196.
