CULUMOVIC , Petar Culumovic

It is with great sadness that the family of Petar Culumovic announce his peaceful passing on Sunday, July 27, 2025, at the age of 95. Petar has found eternal rest alongside his wife, Ana (née Basic) (2021), of 69 years.

He leaves behind his son Duke (Laura); his grandchildren, Katie (Jeff), Nicole (Mark), Michael (Emily); and his great-grandchildren, William and Max. He will be forever missed by his brother-in-law, Jandre (Kata) Basic, and close cousins Ivan (Mira) Culumovic and Jure (Ana) Murgic.

Petar will be reunited with Josip (Manda) Culumovic, Milan Culumovic, Ivan (Manda) Culumovic, and Ivica Pocrnic. He will be lovingly remembered for tending to his large garden, firing up his smokehouse, and sharing a shot of rakija with all those dear to him. Petar cherished all his family and friends both in Canada and his homeland, Croatia.

Visitation will take place at Windsor Chapel, 519-253-7235, on Thursday, July 31, 2025, from 2:00 – 5:00 pm and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. Parish Prayers Thursday at 4:30 pm. Funeral Service on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 9:45 am from the funeral home, then to St. Francis of Assisi Croatian Catholic Church for Funeral Mass at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Windsor Memorial Gardens.

As an expression of sympathy, donations may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Church Building Fund.
