DAIGLE, John Arthur Daigle

Life Member of Royal Canadian Legion Branch 178 and Korean War Veteran Passed away surrounded by the love of his family on January 14, 2026  Beloved husband of the late Joan Daigle (Brown).Loving father of Barbara (Frank) D’Onofrio, Beverley (George) Kleon, Donna Wright (Peter Daly) and Donnie (Bonnie) Daigle.

Cherished Grandfather of Michael (Frances), Sara, Laura (Ryan), Dean (Jen), Christina (Caesar), Katherine (Will), Bryan, Joanna (Devan), Michael (Tammy), Kari-Lynn (Ray), Joe (Lina) and Lisa (Dave). Great- Grandfather of Frankie, Emilia, Jacob, Noah, Cali, Charolette, Braydon (Kelsey), Tiana (Ben), Grayson, Ali-Ray, Taylor (Max), Bayley (Val), Dayton, Stella, Lucas, Oliver and Teddy. Great Great Grandfather to River and Rowan.

John was predeceased by his parents Edmond & Elmonde Daigle (Schofield). He will be missed by his one surviving sister Symone Daley(Daigle) and lovingly remembered by his extended family and many friends.

To the staff at Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, we appreciate your compassion and care. Celebration of Life to be held at Bowmanville Legion Branch 178, visitation begins at 12 noon with full legion service taking place at 1pm -2pm. Luncheon will be served by the Ladies Auxiliary after the celebration services.

A Memorial Service will be held for John at the Branch 178, Bowmanville Legion on Monday, January 26th, from 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
