We are saddened to announce the passing of our dearest Sueee/Suesif, her nicknames lovingly assigned to her years ago by her nieces and nephew. Even though Sueee was in hospice care, she held fast to her fun-loving spirit and sense of humor, and endeared herself to the amazing staff at Lisaard House with her quirky ways. They provided such incredible, compassionate care to her for the past 6 months. It was a gift to Sueee and her family to have her last months spent there.

She faced her terminal diagnosis with dignity and grace and she rarely complained. She chose to enjoy her remaining time by making the most of the daily visits from many different family members.

She will be greatly missed by her nieces and nephews; Kelly (Scott), Jill (Tim), Lisa (Herb), Katie (Mark), Michelle, Chris (Laurel), sister-in-law Rosemary (Peter), as well as great nieces and nephews Mike (Sam), Nic (Okham), Molly (Darcy), TJ (Devon), Melanie (Rob), Lindsay (Chris), and Dan (Sam). She was also fortunate to be Aunt to great nieces and nephews Maddie, Noah, Dwayne, Nora, and Addi.

We hope Sueee is dancing in heaven to Beatles songs and playing cards with her Mom and Dad, Mary and Helmuth Damman, and her beloved sister and brother-in-law Jane and Jack Howden, and her adored little brother Mike Damman.

As Sueee always said, “Who has more fun than we do!”
