DAMME, Elizabeth Alice “Libby” Van Damme (née McAdam)

With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Alice Van Damme (Libby) on June 7, 2025, at the age of 72, surrounded by her loving family.

Beloved wife of 45 years to William (Bill) Van Damme. Loving mother to Michael Van Damme (Kim) of Sarnia, Melissa Routley (John) of London, and Lindsey Van Damme (Andy) of Guelph. Cherished grandmother to Tessa, Christine, Cameron, Dawn, William, and Alanna. Proud great-grandmother to Colten, Ella, Alexis, Casey, Adrian, Dane, Grayson, and Sabastian.

Libby is survived by her brothers Don McAdam of Brussels, Les McAdam of Manitoba, and John McAdam of Grand Bend. She was predeceased by her parents Wilfred McAdam and Verna Burnley.

Throughout her life, Libby found joy in camping, sharing time with friends and family, enjoying campfires, and seeking adventure. Her love for the outdoors and community will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
