Daw Ma Ma Gyi (16 July 1918 – 29 March 2025) passed away peacefully at the age of 107. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, U Tin Aung. She leaves behind her cherished children: daughters Tin Mar Mar, Ma Tin Thi Tar, and sons Kyaw Htay and Soe Aung.

A Visitation with family and friends will be held at McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, 647 503-4771) on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A Buddhist Prayer Service will take place in the Chapel at McEachnie Funeral Home on Thursday, April 3, 2025, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. A viewing with family will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., followed by interment at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
