De NAPOLI, Robert – December 7, 1965 – January 1, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved brother, Robert De Napoli, from heart complications.

Robert was born in Hamilton, ON to Dominic and Mila De Napoli (deceased) at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He leaves behind his loving sisters, Eva, Marilyn and Elisabeth.

Robert is survived by his long-time partner, Irene Grilo, and his stepsons, Andy and Matthew.

The most important things to Robert were family, friends and his dog, Toby.  He will be missed by many aunts, uncles and cousins. He will be fondly remembered by his numerous friends, especially Mike, Kevin, Brian, Nick and Rob.

Robert was hardworking, kind, loyal and had a great sense of humour. Robert loved animals and his six year old dog, Toby, brought him great joy. They will miss each other very much.

Robert was a wonderful brother, a great friend and the family historian. A great deal of family lore has passed with him. Our dearest Robert, we love you so much. We will miss you every day – your gorgeous eyes, your handsome face, your beautiful spirit – until we meet again.

Friends and family are invited to gather in honour of Robert at FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton St. E., Hamilton (near James St.) on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. Funeral service to be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, January 11, 2016 at 10 a.m. Entombment to follow.
