DENYES, Mary Valerie Denyes

It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Mary Valerie Denyes, at her home on November 24, 2025, at the age of 71.
Born in Stoney Creek, Ontario, Mary lived a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. She travelled the globe, embracing new places, cultures, and experiences with an open heart and an unshakeable sense of curiosity. Whether she was golfing, hosting family gatherings, or enjoying a good party, Mary was always surrounded by people she loved. Her warmth, humour, and generosity left an imprint on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Mary was deeply devoted to her family. She will be forever cherished by her beloved spouse, David, and her loving sons Caleb (Jona) and Jacob (Kendra). She was a proud Baba to Lucas, Octavia, Abigail, Victoria, and Oliver, whose lives she filled with joy and treasured memories.
She will be dearly missed by her siblings, Peter and Jeanette (Wayne), as well as her nieces and nephews Lori (Doug), Steven (Cherry), and Krista (Sergio). Mary is also remembered with love by her great-nieces and great-nephews Jack, Julia, Evan, Ciara, Raine, and Gabe.
Mary’s life was a celebration of family, connection, and living each day with purpose. Her strength, spirit, and unforgettable smile will be carried in the hearts of all who loved her. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to the Cancer Assistance Program.
Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Donald V. Brown Funeral Home, 36 Lake Avenue, Stoney Creek, on Saturday December 6, 2025 from 2-5 p.m.
