With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Kristen “Krissy” Anne Evelyn Deschamps (Soltis). Krissy passed away peacefully at Parkwood Institute Palliative Care Unit in London, Ontario on Sunday, February 1, 2026, with her parents by her side. Survived by her parents Mary Soltis (Seberras) and Joseph Soltis, her brother Joey (wife Katie), brother Andrew, her nephew Ethan, niece Bailey, and loving partner Scott Clarke.

Krissy was a strong, independent, and hardworking woman. She spent much of her career working at Stihl Ltd. in London Ontario, where her dedication, and tireless work ethic touched the souls of colleagues’ friends and family.

Kristen’s career and life was interrupted when she was diagnosed with metastatic kidney cancer in 2020. Her determination tenacity to fight her illness was remarkable. In 2024 she participated in The Terry Fox Run in London and received a “Certificate of Appreciation” from the Terry Fox Foundation for her teams “Kristen’s Krew” contribution.

She was an avid fan of the Buffalo Bills NFL team, collecting any mementos she could find. Not a game would broadcast that Krissy would not dress up in her Bills attire and enjoy a feast of wings with family and friends.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her family, friends, and colleagues. Kristen’s legacy – as a devoted daughter, supportive sister, beloved aunt and faithful friend – will continue to guide and inspire all who were blessed to share her life. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit lives on in our hearts, and we will forever honour the impact she made on the world around her.

Visitation will be held at De Stefano Funeral home, Celebration & Reception Centre (1289 Keith Ross Drive, Oshawa, ON L1J 0C7) on Saturday, February 21^st from 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any contributions made to the Terry Fox Foundation or a charity of your choice.
