DESROCHES, Marcel George Desroches

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Marcel Desroches announces his peaceful passing at Northern Heights Community, North Bay on October 26, 2025, at the age of 89.

Marcel is predeceased by his beloved wife Florence Desroches (née Denommee) and by his daughter Linda Leblanc, step daughters Jacqueline Ganshi, Janet Charette and his granddaughter Tammy Pullicino. He is survived by his children Diane Orr (Rick), Denis Desroches, Guy Desroches, Monique Mitts (Gary) and his stepchildren, Vince Balester, Ernie Gagnon (Joanne), Maureen Miller (Rick), and son-in-law Jesse Ganshi. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Janice Booth (Ben), Mélanie Morin (Rob), Michelle Guest (Chris), Eric Leblanc (Pam), Julie Mitts (Eric), Patrick Mitts, Serena Prud’homme (Charles), Ramsey Ganshi (Angela), Saby Ganshi (Jillian), Roxanne Heus (Brian), Roseanne Miller, Rickie Miller (Michèle), Natasha Adzic (Eddie), Josh Gagnon (Tina) Samantha Kuzenko (Mathew), Tammy Baglole (James), Jason Balester (Sheri), Danielle Charette, Shari Charette and 30 great grandchildren.

He was also predeceased by his siblings, Marguerite Roberge, Georgette St-Georges, Mireille Brosseu, Collette Lapointe, Florence Desroches, François Desroches, Gérard Desroches, Germain Desroches, Gilbert Desroches, Jean Desroches, Louis Desroches and Raymond Desroches. He will also be remembered by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Cremation has taken place. Family and friends are invited to attend a graveside service and interment at the Civic Cemetery, 365 2nd Ave N, Sudbury, on Saturday November 1, 2025, at 11:30. Luncheon to follow.
