DEVLIN , Ryan Hugh Devlin March 23, 1977 - August 3, 2025
DEVLIN , Ryan Hugh Devlin

On Sunday August 3rd at 4:35 pm, surrounded by so much love, Ryan peacefully passed away with the sound of the Blue Jays game playing in the background.

Ryan was the loving husband of Kelly, proud and loving father of Brianna and Leah. Cherished son of Margaret and the late Hugh Devlin, step-son to Paul Hampton, beloved brother of Danny Devlin, son-in law to Janis and the late Ken Churchill. Unkie to Madison and Joshua and brother-in-law to Ryan and Samantha Churchill, as well as so incredibly loved by his cousins, aunts, uncles, friends and puppy Scarlet who he’s now reunited with.

Ryan was so loved. He was funny and kind, loved fishing, his boat, loved hockey, basketball, soccer and was the biggest Toronto Maple Leaf fan.

Every Leafs game was an event – jersey on, snacks ready, and a room full of family and friends cheering together on a Saturday night.

Ryan was always known to have a grin on his face and had such a memorable laugh that we’ll miss tremendously.

Ryan dedicated many years of his life to his career as a Sheet Metal Worker where he made lifelong friends.
We’d like to say a very special thank you to the incredible nurses and doctors at Scarborough Centenary, Toronto General, and Scarborough General Hospital for their wonderful care of Ryan.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at Armstrong Funeral Home (124 King St. E., Oshawa). A Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 1 p.m.
