DIANE, FORREST Joyce Diane

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Forrest (nee St. John), at the age of 67 on December 9th, 2025 surrounded by her family at the Juravinski Hospital.

Predeceased by her parents, Gladys & Earl St. John and brother Ken. She is survived by her sister Carol Mulder (Will). Devoted wife and designated driver for 42 years to Kalvin, and wonderful mother to Sarah, Kelly, Tyler (Rosalyn) and Grandma to Grace McKeag. She also leaves many cousins, nieces and nephews who will greatly miss her.

Joyce will fondly be remembered for her caring personality. She always went above and beyond to be there for her family and friends in their time of need. Joyce loved to host, whether it be euchre parties, the annual May Birthday Celebrations or OHA Backyard BBQ’s, she made sure  you left with a full stomach.

After getting diagnosed with cancer in 2017, Joyce made sure that she would make the best out of every situation. Even on aggressive treatments she made it to Family Vacations every summer, a bucket list trip to Ireland and Boston to make lasting memories with family and friends. Her family can only hope to continue to present the amount of courage and strength she carried with her in their own lives.

We would like to thank the caring staff at Juravinski Hospital, especially Philomena, Jeff & Mira. Your compassion will never be forgotten.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 17th, at the Port Colborne Legion from 2-6pm. Cremation has taken place. Online condolences jwhartfuneralhome.com
