1952 – 2023

 

Peacefully with her family by her side at Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on July 4, 2023, in her 71st year, after a short but brave battle against brain cancer.

 

Beloved wife and best friend for 41 years of Mark Salutin.

 

Predeceased by her parents Al and Iola and her brother Roger. Cherished sister-in-law of Adele Linda Woolfe.

 

Loving Aunt of Eric Woolfe and his wife Wendy Potter, Cara Woolfe and her husband Dave Huffman and great-aunt of Oliver and Jack Woolfe, Riley and Elliott Huffman. Diane grew up in London, going to Western University and then Windsor.

 

She earned her C.A. designation while working for Touche Ross in London before moving to MacGillivray in Hamilton where she met Mark at an inter-office conference hosted by Deerhurst.

 

Diane & Mark amazingly completed a 32-day cruise from Sydney to Vancouver 7 days before her sudden illness. Anytime we drink a glass of champagne, we will think of Diane and offer a toast.

 

A private graveside service was held for the family.
