BASS, Dimitra Bass

BASS (BASANIOTI), Dimitra  –  Sadly, Dimitra passed away, on June 22, 2023.

She was born in Ano Diminion, Corinth, Greece, on September 4, 1933.

She immigrated to Canada in 1957 as a young woman with a strong work ethic and dreams of a better life.

Dimitra worked many jobs including at Canada Dry, where she was a quality control inspector.

Dimitra had a sense of humour and enjoyed engaging with people.

She was a deeply religious and caring person with a sweet smile. She was involved with many Greek organizations and rarely missed a Greek dance.

She was literally everywhere. Dimitra will be dearly missed by her family and many friends.

Visitation will be at Heritage Funeral Centre, 50 Overlea Blvd., Toronto, on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. A private funeral service will take place in Greece.
