JOVANOV, Djura “George” –   It is with profound sadness that the family announces his passing on Friday, October 9, 2015 at the age of 92.

Beloved husband of the late Irina.

George will be forever remembered by his precious children Mike, Darinka and Nina, his grandchildren Kimberley, Tanya, Kevin, Mark, Sasha and Mischa, his great-grandchild Victoria and daughter-in-law Gayle. “Deda”, as everyone knew him, will also be forever remembered by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family.

Funeral at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 203 River St. (corner of Gerrard St. and River St.) on Tuesday, October 13th at 11 a.m.

His family has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s name to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
