DOMANSKI, Sheila Marie Domanski

It is with heavy hearts that we announce Sheila Domanski passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on January 9, 2026. Sheila was born June 28, 1961, in Toronto, ON, and lived a life filled with kindness, generosity, and love.
Sheila will be lovingly remembered by her husband David (38 years), children Joseph (Jacquelyn) and Kristen (Bryan), and soon to be grandson. The oldest of five siblings, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary.
Throughout her life, Sheila was known for having a successful consulting career. She touched the lives of many with her warmth, sense of humor, dedication, and will be greatly missed by all that knew her around the world.
Sheila most enjoyed spending time with family, and enjoyed time cooking, spending time with her family and enjoying summers at the cottage. She was an avid animal lover to the many dogs and cats she had throughout her life.
Special thanks to her dear sister, Christine Shoenrock and her sister-in-law Monica and niece Nikki, who regularly visited Sheila to spend time with her. An additional thanks to all coworkers and friends, including dear friend Steve Playford.
The family would sincerely thank the many nurses and PSWs, that loved and cared for her over the years, especially Lillia, Ria, and Sarah.
Family and friends will be received at BARNES MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, between 2:00 – 4:00PM and 6:00 – 8:00 PM for visitation. A funeral service honoring Sheila’s life will be held in Barnes Chapel on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 1:00 PM, followed by a private family internment at Thornton Cemetery in Oshawa.
In leu of flowers, donations may be made to the ALS Society of Canada in Sheila’s memory.
Sheila’s legacy of love and kindness will live on in the hearts of those she touched. Rest in Peace.
