Corner DonaldCORNER, Donald Ross – It’s with heavy hearts that we announce the peaceful passing of Donald Ross Corner on September 29, 2015 at the age of 73 with his family at his side after a hard fought battle with cancer. 

Soulmate for 52 years of Mary (“Mare”), loving father to Dawn Marie, Lee, and Andrew, father-in-law and friend to Mick, Shawn, and Sarah, proud grandpa of Madeline, Alexander, Sage, and Rowan, beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, and cousin to the Purser, Corner, and Weatherall families, missed by his constant companion Penny and many, many friends. 

Controller at Tamarack Lumber for 40 years, proud member and past Ontario District Director of the Goldwing road Riders Association, he and Mary clocked many miles on three successive goldwings. 

 

He never said no to a glass of scotch.  Many a happy hour was spent sipping with friends at Antrim Glen, and he rarely missed Wednesday lunch with Dave.  He always had a ready smile and the best sense of humour, and he loved to laugh. 

Visitation will be held at KITCHING, STEEPE & LUDWIG FUNERAL HOME, 146 Mill St. N., Waterdown, ON on Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday from 2-5 p.m. 

In lieu of flowers the family would appreciate donations made to The Carpenter House Hospice in Burlington.
