BRIDGES, Donna Irene   –  Donna passed away peacefully at the age of 77 on November 29, 2023.

Daughter of Irene and James Thorburn. Sister to Doug. Wife to Clive.

Beloved mother to Jim (Eva) and Kenny (Sarah).

Loving grandmother to Ella, William, Jacob and Mackenzie. Anyone who knew Donna, knew she was a lover of life; always smiling, always laughing.

Throughout her life she did many things; working as a bank teller and a teacher.

At Humber College, she graduated at the top of her class in the Multimedia Field. She was always trying new things, and making new friends along the way.

She loved gardening, sewing, family trips and Burton Cummings (a lot). More than anything, Donna loved talking and telling stories.

If you had a minute (or more), she would have a story for you! She was a bright, beautiful soul filled with positivity and joy; Donna was sunshine in human form. She is loved deeply, and will be missed greatly.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Scott Funeral Home – Brampton Chapel (289 Main St North, on Tuesday December 12, 2023 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Donations in Donna’s memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
