LEE, Doris E. Lee

LEE, Doris E.  – It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Doris Lee, at the age of 88, at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital in Ottawa, after a brief illness on June 16, 2023.

Doris was predeceased by her parents, Elsie and Thomas Luyben; her husband, Bill Lee; son, Glenn Lee; sister, Maxine Wells; brothers, Roy and Garry Luyben; and partner, Jim Ford.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Leonov (Heldur); son, Robert Lee (Ronna); and her brother, Bruce Luyben (Norma).

She is the much-loved grandmother of Andrew (Tiffany), Adam (Meaghan), Samantha, Jordan (Holly), Alison (Matt), Ryan (Tabitha), Michael and William; and great-grandmother of Parker, Tate, Knox and Sloan.

She will also be missed by many nieces, nephews and cherished friends.

Doris was foremost a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

She was also a world traveller, loved to go on cruises and loved to golf.

Doris has been cremated, and a celebration of life will be held in Ottawa, ON, at a later date.
