It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Brian David Doucet, on May 11, 2025, at Millennium Trail Manor, at the age of 83.

Beloved husband of Katherine for 60 years. Devoted father of Lesley Dilts and Mark Doucet (Lisa). Adored Papa of Scott. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Brian devoted his life to caring for his family. He was a proud member of the Lincoln and Welland Regiment from the age of 16, retiring as a Major. He continued serving the Regiment through his work with the Foundation. A passionate reader, especially of military history, Brian also loved the outdoors and chatting with his next-door “buddy.”

Friday, May 16, 2025: 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.

Funeral Service:
Friday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
A private family interment of ashes will follow at Fairview Cemetery.

After the service, friends and extended family are invited to the Morse & Son Event Centre for fellowship, refreshments, and sharing of memories.
