LUCY, Douglas George – (Retired C.G.E. of 43 years, WWII Veteran, Member of St. James United Church)   

Passed away peacefully on Friday, October 9th, 2015 at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre in his 92nd year.

Beloved husband of the late Esther (nee Brown). Loving father of John (Linda). Cherished grandfather of Tracey Musclow (Chris) and great-grandfather of Annalise Musclow.

Predeceased by his siblings Clara Smith, Marion Villimere and Gordon Lucy. Survived by his many nieces, nephews and their families.

Doug was very active in his church, St. James United, sang in the choir and volunteered for the Breakfast Program.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th at 10 a.m. at NISBETT FUNERAL HOME  , 600 Monaghan Road South, Peterborough, Ontario, with a Memorial Service to follow at 11 a.m. in the Nisbett Chapel. Interment.

Donations made to St. James United Church would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Special thanks to the staff at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, Dr. Crane for his excellent care and Dr. Mackenzie for his superb attention to Doug for many years.
