Surrounded by his family, Doug passed away peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday January 5^th, 2024 at the age of 78 yearsBeloved husband of Maxine (Mimi) (nee Best) for 60 years. 

Loving dad of Wayne and Ken (Melissa). 

Cherished grandpa of Kaden and Brooklyn. 

Dear brother of Al (Ella), Bruce (Nancy), Barb Mercer (John) and David (the late Marissa). 

He was predeceased by his brother Roy and survived by sister-in-law Louise. 

He will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews and friends.

At Doug’s request no services are being held.  Memorial Donations may be made to The Alzheimer’s Society.
