Bob passed away peacefully at Perth Hospital in his 92nd year. He was predeceased by his parents Garnet and Margret (Stewart) Dowdall and his first wife Joyce Dowdall, as well as his siblings Nora Baird, Helena Baird, Doreen White, Mary Clapp, and Cecil Dowdall.

Left to mourn are his beloved wife Eleanor Dowdall, and sons Mike (Helen), Dave (Arlene), Randy (Corinne), and Rick (Tracy). Cherished grandfather of Laura, Sara (Chris), Amanda (Ryan), Lisa (Chris), Eric, Colin (Rachel), Todd, Sydney (Tyson), Brian (Cherina), Adam, and great-grandfather to 10 wonderful great-grandchildren.

Bob will also be missed by his stepchildren Denise (Gord), Gwen (Rennee), Eric (Suzanne), and many nieces and nephews.

Cremation has taken place. A family graveside service will be held at Belleville Cemetery, 631 Dundas St. W., Belleville, Ontario.
