DOWNS, Peggy –  It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother Sylvia Lillian Peggy Downs on Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Ross Memorial Hospital in Lindsay at the age 95.

Beloved wife of the late Alfred Downs (1982).

Loving mother of Carole Keenan (Jerry), Michael Downs (Eileen), Terry Downs (Michelle) and her deceased son Colin Downs (Kathie).

Lovingly remembered by her 13 grandchildren and by her 18 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Alf Lees (Win), Syd Lees (Pat) and Les Lees (Lilly) and by her sister Jean Fisher.

Relatives and friends are invited to call at the STODDART FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 24 Mill Street, Lindsay K9V 2L1 (705-324-3205) on Saturday, October 3 from 12:00 noon until time of funeral service in the chapel at 2:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery, Lindsay.

If desired, memorial donations to the Ross Memorial Hospital – Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.
