Dr. GREENWOOD, Donald Eric Greenwood

He was the beloved husband of Evi, devoted father of Miriam (Paul), and cherished grandfather of Emily, Zachary, Lucas, and Bennett. He was predeceased by his brother, David.

Don was widely respected by his colleagues at the Whitby Psychiatric Centre and the Durham District School Board, where his compassion, dedication, and wisdom touched countless lives. He was also a faithful member of both Trinity Pentecostal and Victory Christian Centre, where he found strength, fellowship, and purpose. He will be deeply missed by the church families who were enriched by his presence.

Beyond his professional and spiritual commitments, Don was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. His kindness, quiet strength, and unwavering commitment to his family and community leave a legacy of love and service. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Visitation will be held at Courtice Funeral Chapel, 1587 Highway #2, (905-432-8484) on Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17 at 10:30 a.m. at Victory Christian Centre, 593 Alma St, Port Perry. Interment will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, at 2:00 PM.
