Albert van Dreumel passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of 51 years to Ann and the dear father of Dave (Teri), Nevin (Cheryl), Lisa, and Cheryl (Dave). Albert was a loving Opa to Melissa, Michael, Jessica, Brendan, Joshua, Alice, and Grace, and a doting Great-Opa to Avery, Alexis, and Aaliyah. He was a treasured brother to Reit (Jan) and the late Sjaan, Arnold, and Willy.

Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31, 2025, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street, Bowmanville.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at 11:00 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 214 King Avenue East, Newcastle. Following the service, the family invites guests to join them for a reception in the church hall.

Burial will take place later in the Spring in Maynooth, Ontario.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
