DRIEDGER, Gertrude Driedger

Passed away at Southlake Hospital, Friday, September 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Gertrude had resided happily at Douglas Crossing for many years prior to some health struggles that she fought with perseverance and determination. Gertude was predeceased by her husband Neil Driedger (2008). Gertrude will be sadly missed by her daughters Carole Leamen (Brent-deceased), Vera Carter (Barry), Rosemarie McCathie (Cal). Grandmother of Jeffrey Leaman (Jessica) and great granddaughter Livia, Julia Leamen (Iain McLuckie) and great grandchildren Landon and Isla, Jennifer Carter (Drew Haynes), Cheryl Cummings (Colin) and great granddaughter Alexandria, Christopher Carter (Alexis Vos), Sarah Urquhart (Jamie), Kevin McCathie (Channelle Leong) and Eric McCathie.

Gertrude retired from Apple Canada where she managed the customs work in the early years of computing with Apple in Canada. Gertrude came from a large family and is predeceased by all of her siblings except for her sister Betty. She will be welcomed home by her husband Neil and her beloved twin sister Bertha.
