DROVER, David Clyde Drover
September 25, 1944 - October 19, 2025
Journey came to a peaceful close, holding onto his steadfast belief in Jesus, and leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and quiet strength.
David was a devoted husband, a loving father, a cherished grandfather and great-grandfather, a faithful follower of Christ, and a beloved brother. He is survived by his wife, Loretta Drover, with whom he shared a life rooted in faith, love, and unwavering commitment.
He will be deeply missed by his children: David Jr. (Heather), Michelle (Jacob), and is now reunited in glory with his son, Clyde, whose memory remained close to his heart.
A proud and loving grandfather, David leaves behind Aaron (Brianna), Clyde, Lindsay, Sarah (Reyhan), Trevor (Kayla), Brandon (Jessica), Cheyenne, and Andrew. His legacy continues through his great-grandchildren: Emily, Jayden, Mollie, Scarlett, Kyrie, Naya, Tristan, Ryleigh, Layla, Ryder, Haisley, Mia, Wesley, Willem, Ezra, Grace, Audrey, Owen, and Elsie-Mae.
David is also survived by his brothers, Wallace and George, whose bond with him remained strong throughout their lives and predeceased by his sister Rosiland (Fred).
His faith in Jesus Christ was the foundation of everything he did. David lived with quiet conviction, extended kindness to all, and led his family with prayer and strength. His life was a testament to the grace and hope found in walking with the Lord.
A visitation for David will be held at COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway #2, Courtice on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will be held at LIBERTY CHURCH BOWMANVILLE on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at 10:00 AM (1965 Bowmanville Ave, Bowmanville). A committal service will be held at Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens at 2:00 PM (1757 Church St N, Ajax).
