DUBOIS, Gregory Allan DuBois
July 17, 1955 - December 6, 2025
We are heartbroken to announce Greg passed away peacefully with his wife of 46 years by his side on December 6, 2025. Greg was born on July 17, 1955 to Norma and Gerald DuBois. In his early years he enjoyed playing hockey, baseball and golfing. He reached his ultimate milestone of a “Hole in One” on September 22, 2007 at the FWCC. He had a large circle of close friends that meant a lot to him. He worked over 30 years for Great Lake Paper Mill. He is survived by his wife Marcia, mother Norma and sisters Gwen DuBois-Wing and Gayle DuBois. Also surviving are his mother-in-law Victoria Curtola, sisters-in-law Carol (Ken) Russell, Donna (Gary) Small, Angela (Barry) Forbes, Heather Curtola and brothers-in-law Tom Curtola and Tony Curtola. Also many aunts, uncles, cousins and nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Greg was predeceased by grandparents Yrjo and Tyyne Laine, Amie and Alice DuBois, father Gerald, father-in-law Anthony Curtola. Also brothers-in-law Don Wing, Jim Curtola, Ron Curtola and aunts and uncles. As well as good friend John Gold. We are deeply saddened by Greg’s passing but equally grateful for his life. We will miss his cheerfulness, generosity, curiosity and amazing photographic memory. Cremation has taken place through Simpler Times and a Celebration of Life is planned for Spring 2026. Donations in memory of Greg may be made to The Humane Society or TBRHSC Foundation Our Hearts at Home or Northern Cancer Fund. Arrangements have been entrusted to Simpler Times Cremation Centre, 575 Central Avenue, Thunder Bay.
