DUKE, Jim Russell –   It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jim Duke.

He passed away suddenly at his home in Wasaga Beach on October 4th at the age of 72.

Jim, beloved husband of Maxine.

Loving father of Karen Duke and her husband Andrea Vander Vote, Brian and his wife Mary Anne and David and his wife Nicole Bumstead.

He was also a loving grandpa to Joshua, Brittaney, Logan, Nathan and Emma. Jim is survived by one sister and two brothers. 

Jim could be described as quite a character with a huge heart. He will be deeply and sadly missed by all of his family including his dog, Sonny. 

Following Jim’s wishes cremation has taken place. 

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by family.
