WILSON, Duncan Wilson Obituary

WILSON, Duncan – Peacefully, after a brief struggle with cancer, surrounded by family at his residence on Monday, December 21, 2015, Duncan Wilson of London in his 78th year.

Beloved husband for 56 years of Carolyn (Hesp).

Loving father of Terry Wilson, Lori Seymour (Andrew), and Fraser Wilson (Shelley). Cherished Papa of Jaymie Wilson-Neil (Mike), Marisa Gennaro (Jon McDonald), Paul Wilson, and Spencer Seymour, and great-grandpa of Tyler McDonald and Faye Neil.

Also fondly remembered by brothers Jim (Marj) of Burlington, Robert (Gloria) of London, and Christopher of Toronto, cousin Sadie Love (the late Dave), and several nieces and nephews.

Duncan enjoyed a 26 year Secondary School career with the London Board of Education, teaching Sheet Metal and Drafting. After retirement, he continued in his trade, and also enjoyed designing many works of art metal. He was awarded Life Membership in Optimist International, having served for many years with the Southwest-London and Fanshawe Optimist Clubs of London.

Service will be held in London, on Wednesday, December 30th, officiated by Rev. Dr. Sheila Macgregor. Cremation has taken place.  Private family interment at a later date.
