It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Mary Shirley Dupuis (née Power) on August 10, 2025, at the age of 87. Mary passed away peacefully at Bonnechere Manor, Renfrew, surrounded by her family’s love. Born in Chapeau, Ontario, and formerly of Pembroke, she was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Dupuis (2008).

Mary is survived by her son Richard “Rick” Dupuis (Ann Buelow Dupuis); grandchildren Doug (Cheryl) and Jason Dupuis; step-grandchildren Kayla and Marcus Buelow; and two great-grandchildren. She was the cherished daughter of the late Walter and Anne Power (née Simon) and was predeceased by her son Doug Dupuis (2024) and her sister Martha Dupuis (2021).

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to the compassionate 2nd floor staff at Bonnechere Manor for their loving care, and to her niece Debbie (Rick) Gervais for years of dedication, TLC, and steadfast support.

A private graveside service will be held at St. Columba’s Cemetery Columbarium at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Bonnechere Manor would be appreciated.
