DURANT, Jessica Durant

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jessica on February 20, 2026, at 93 years of age. She is predeceased by her husband Peter. Beloved mother of John (Angela) Durant, Donna Durant, Shirley (Kris) Henderson, and is reunited with her son Peter James. Dear mother-in-law of Cheryl. Loving Grandma of Nicola, the late Erika, Rachael, Renee, Samantha, Fin, Peter, Bradley, and great Grandma of Liam, Ireland, Laylah, Jackson, Kilian, A.J, and Shaeden. She is also reunited with her parents George and Rosanna, and her siblings. Jessica will be dearly missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

She was a proud Cape Bretoner that loved to spend time with her family and friends.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 27th, 2026, from 11am until time of Funeral Service at 1pm at P.X. Dermody Funeral Home, 796 Upper Gage Ave. Hamilton, ON.
