DUROCHER, Frank R. Durocher
June 3, 1942 - October 29, 2025
With heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Frank Durocher at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Dolores (Tramontozzi) of 51 wonderful years of marriage. Predeceased by his loving parents Herman and Rose Durocher (Barrette). Proud father to Danielle Sylvester (Bob) and Chris Durocher (Jenny). Much loved Nonno to Ryan Sylvester. Brother to Roger Durocher (the late Volene), Richard Durocher (Jeanette), Bernard Durocher (Peggy), Philip Durocher (Ursula) and Michelle Haselden (Frank). Predeceased by his siblings Jean Paul Durocher (Helen), Norbert Durocher (Penny), Janet Duval (Andrew) And Colette Gibbons (Chris). Lovingly remembered by his Brothers-In-Law Jerry Tramontozzi (Brenda), Frank Tramontozzi (Maureen) and Mario Tramontozzi (Sylvie). He will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.
Frank was a proud Firefighter for 30 years with the City of Windsor. Upon retiring as a Captain, he became fondly known as “Frank of all trades” always willing to lend a helping hand be it woodworking, home renovations and any miscellaneous tasks. Frank was an athlete growing up, he loved playing many sports and especially golf. He cherished many meals with family and friends, including Monday night meetups with his brothers. Above all Frank loved his family, spending time with them and especially his grandson Ryan and nephews, whose hockey and baseball games he loved to attend.
A visitation will be held at Families First South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave, Windsor, ON N9E 1S8, Canada) On Tuesday, November 4th, 2025, from 3pm to 5pm and 6:30pm to 9pm with a firefighter walkthrough at 7:00pm, prayers to follow. Visitation will resume at Families First South Windsor on Wednesday, November 5th, 2025, from 10:30am until time of service at 11am. Entombment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery to follow.
