KENT E. John – It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our loved one, John Kent. Surrounded by his family, he passed away peacefully on October 8th 2015.

Beloved husband of Susan Kent. Devoted and loving father to Christopher and Jennifer (Marc). He will be fondly remember by family and friends for his positive attitude and gratitude for life.

Friends may pay their respects to the family at The Whelan Funeral Home, 515 Cooper St. (between Bay & Lyon), Ottawa, Ontario on Wednesday, October 14th from 5 to 9 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 153 Woodroffe Ave., Ottawa, Ontario on Thursday, October 15th at 10:30 AM. Interment to follow.

Donations to The Ottawa Heart Institute or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
