BOLTON, R. Earl Bolton

BOLTON, R. Earl   –  In his 100th year, went to be with his Lord and Saviour, on June 11, 2023.

Son of the late William and Sarah Bolton, from Kingston, Ontario.

Predeceased by his wife, June (1954 – 1985); and by his wife, Julie (1986 – 2009).

The beloved husband of Barbara for eight years.

Father to Susan (Wayne) Middleton, Cathy (Jim) Treusch and Randy (Maryann) Bolton.

Grandpa to Sarah (Steve) Baptist, Michael (Holly) Middleton, Adam (Yvonne) Clarke, Ryan (Beth) Clarke, Jason (Tara) Clarke, Jay (Christina) Treusch, Drew (Naddy) Bolton, Trevor (Jessica) Bolton, Robert (Mia) Wesley and Caroline (Suraj) Wesley; and great-grandpa to eight.

Fondly remembered by Julie and Barbara’s extended families. He had a long career with Imperial Oil and was a Ham radio operator.

An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed skiing, swimming and sailing. Also a longtime, active member of GracePoint Baptist Church in Scarborough.

Family and friends will gather on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Chapel Ridge Funeral Home, 8911 Woodbine Avenue, Markham, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Funeral service at 11:00 a.m., with reception and private family interment to follow.

Donations in his memory to Vivian Baptist Church (16690 Highway 46, Stouffville, ON L4A 7X4) would be appreciated by his family.
