EARNEST, Wendy Earnest

Passed away peacefully at Brightshores Health System – Owen Sound on January 24, 2026. Born in Owen Sound on May 6, 1951, Wendy Marie Earnest of Owen Sound, was in her 75th year.

Loving mother of Tina Weller (Mary) of Owen Sound and Jasper Dieter. Dear sister of Jim Earnest (Nancy), Sherry Grimstead, John, Earnest, Debbie Bell and Hank Earnest. Wendy will also be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.

Predeceased by her parents Jack Earnest and Marie Cameron (nee Ramsay).

Wendy loved her community. She spent many years happily driving everyone around that needed a lift from Wendy’s Taxis Services.

We will all miss you Mamma – Earnie XO.

In keeping with Wendy’s wishes, cremation is taking place and a private service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Brian E. Wood Funeral Home, Owen Sound, 519-376-7492.
