EATON, Edna Eaton

Peacefully passed away on December 8, 2025 at Lakeridge Health Oshawa at the age of 90 ½.

Predeceased by her husband Don. Loving mother of Todd Eaton (Lori) and Andrea Broadbent (the late Steve). Cherished grandmother of Darryl (Angie) and Rebecca (Ryan) and great-grandmother of Wells and Cohen. Dear sister of Audrey and predeceased by sisters Jean, Betty, and Jessie. Edna, lovingly known as ‘Aunt Dolly’, will be missed by her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends, especially her second daughter Darlene Lamonday.

Edna’s world revolved around her family, whom she loved fiercely and supported wholeheartedly. She was always there-on the sidelines cheering, helping with fundraisers, organizing, encouraging, and showing up in every way that mattered.

She was well loved by all who knew her. Warm, welcoming, and quick with a witty remark, she had a sense of humour that could light up a room. Always up for an adventure, she embraced fun with enthusiasm. Whether it was trying something new, planning an outing, or simply enjoying time with the people she cared about, she lived with joy and a contagious energy. Her love of music filled her home, her memories, and the hearts of those around her.
