ECKENSVILLER, John William Eckensviller

Peacefully, with family by his side, Jack died Sunday, December 7, 2025 at North Bay Regional Health Centre. He was 84 years old.

Jack was the beloved husband of Jeannette (Lang) of North Bay, formerly of Trout Creek. He was the much-loved father of Jamie Busch (Mary Anne) of Burlington, Tami Busch of Callander, Mary Lou Snyder (late Gary) of North Bay, Gary Busch (Diana) of Burton, New Brunswick, Jill MacNeil (Mike) of North Bay, and Todd Eckensviller (Lisa) of Barrie. He will be lovingly remembered by five grandchildren: Eric (Iris), Dillon, Noah, Mitchell (Baileigh), and MacKenzie and three great-grandchildren.

Jack was predeceased by his parents Alma (Oshell) and William Eckensviller and his sister Oneita Ewin. He is survived by his siblings Joyce Duguay of North Bay, Janice Grasser (Murray) of Trout Creek, and Gerry Eckensviller (Lucy) of Trout Creek; and his sister-in-law Barb Mogridge of Powassan.

The family will receive visitors at the Paul Funeral Home, Powassan on Friday, December 12, 2025 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be in the chapel at 1:00 pm. Cremation will follow with burial of ashes at Sacred Heart Cemetery in spring 2026.
